Plain summary: OmniPrint does not collect your name, email, or any personal identity. Print files go directly to your printer — never to our servers. Analytics, ads, and subscriptions are handled by trusted third-party SDKs (Google, RevenueCat) which are disclosed in full below.

About OmniPrint

OmniPrint is developed and operated by Tengai Solutions (Private) Limited, based in Harare, Zimbabwe.

OmniPrint is an Android thermal printing utility that allows users to print documents, images, receipts, barcodes, QR codes, and text to Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB, and compatible system printers. The App includes both free and subscription-based features.

By using OmniPrint, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect Automatically

OmniPrint itself does not collect or store personal data. The following information is collected automatically by third-party SDKs embedded in the app:

Firebase Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) to understand how users interact with the app. Information collected may include app usage statistics, screen views, feature usage, device model, Android OS version, app version, session duration, and country or region-level location. This data is aggregated and anonymous.

We use Crashlytics to monitor stability and fix bugs. Crash reports may include device model, OS version, app version, stack traces, time of crash, and limited device state. No personally identifiable information is included.

Google AdMob

The free version of OmniPrint displays advertisements via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect: Advertising ID, approximate location, device information, and app interaction data to deliver and measure ads. Users can reset or opt out of personalised ads in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect: an anonymous app user ID (not linked to your name or email), subscription status, purchase history, and restore purchase information. OmniPrint does not pass any personal identity to RevenueCat.

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The following is stored in an encrypted local database on your device only. It is never sent to any server unless cloud sync is enabled by Pro subscribers (see Section 4).

Cloud Sync — Pro Users Only

OmniPrint Pro includes optional cloud synchronisation using Google Firebase Firestore. The following data may be synced:

Anonymous authentication only. Cloud sync uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication — no email address, phone number, or password is required or collected. A random anonymous ID is created automatically and is not linked to any personal identity.

All synced data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by Google Cloud infrastructure. Users can clear all synced data by clearing app data in Android Settings → Apps → OmniPrint → Storage → Clear Data.

Information We Do NOT Collect

OmniPrint does not collect any of the following:

Images and PDFs selected for printing are processed entirely on your device and sent directly to your printer over your local network or Bluetooth. They are never uploaded to any cloud server.

Subscriptions

OmniPrint offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions processed through Google Play Billing. No payment card information is handled by OmniPrint — all billing is managed by Google Play.

Users can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time through Google Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription.

Security

We implement reasonable security measures including:

No system can be guaranteed 100% secure. Use of OmniPrint is at your own risk.

Children's Privacy

OmniPrint is a business and productivity tool intended for users aged 13 and above. It is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us using the details in Section 15 and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

Your Rights

Access

All locally stored data (print history, templates, saved printers) is viewable directly within the app.

Delete local data

Clear all local data via Settings → Apps → OmniPrint → Clear Data.

Advertising opt-out

Reset or opt out of personalised ads via Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Cloud data deletion

Pro users can request deletion of Firestore data by contacting us. Clearing app data also removes access to the anonymous cloud record.

International Users

OmniPrint may be used internationally. By using the app, you understand that information may be processed by service providers (Google, RevenueCat) located in different countries, including the United States. These providers maintain their own data protection standards.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL or within the app on the Google Play Store listing, with an updated effective date at the top of the page.

Continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
